Preliminary Rounds

  • Only shortlisted participants will be allowed to pitch their business plans at the prelims.
  • The preliminary rounds for the contest will be online.
  • Outstanding entries per category (Mainstream Entrepreneurs / Students) would be called for the finals - Awards night.

Big Idea Pitching

  • The finalists will portray before a gentry panel of entrepreneurs, industrialists and investors.
  • At the finals, 3 Student units and 2 Entrepreneurs team will be chosen as winners.
  • Student Winners will be awarded ”cash prizes”
  • The Mainstream division winner & runner will gain mentoring and funding support from the investors. Serious trials would be considered for funding by our investors.

Guidelines & Regulations

  • ”YUTRY” event is planned for two division of participants:
  • Grads, yearning entrepreneurs & early-stage start-up companies
  • UG/PG Pupils from Engineering Colleges, Arts & Science Colleges, B-schools etc.
  • Registrations may be submitted by individuals or by teams. A crew can consist of a maximum of 3 members.
  • A team can not submit more than one time. Also, a person can be part of only one team.
  • Registration for should be done online at https://yutry.in
  • After careful examination of submitted ideas, we will shortlist members for the prelims.
  • The shortlisted participants will be announced and intimated. For the prelims, the shortlisted members will have to provide a business plan presentation
  • There is zero registration fee, we recommend every aspiring entrepreneur to make use of this opportunity.
  • On the day of the Prelims, Business plans should be presented in the prescribed format only with not more than 15 slides. Participants can download the template at our website
  • Business Plans can be described in English as well as Tamil. But make sure the presentation content is mainly in English. Tamil content can be included wherever necessary.
  • The Participants shortlisted for prelims should make his / her arrangement for food & travel to the Venue.
  • The judgment of the judge’s panel will be final.
  • The participants selected for finals will perform at the “Grand Finale” to be held online.
  • “YUTRY” is a pre-scheduled event and hence we request all the members to comprehend the deadlines. We request participants to be prepared at the venue well ahead of the listed time to prevent trouble in the last moment.
